Earnestly, I Will Be Where You Want Me To Go Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Earnestly, I Will Be Where You Want Me To Go

No mercy,
The world is one big monster
Trying to swallow you whole
Tasting victory
In the spite of your defeat
Relishing it all
Revelling in the tragedy of love

I feel all of the pain
Everything that has ever hurt you
Fighting to be stronger for the future
Slaying every Demon
That tries taking you down
Into the bowels of a broken society

I will help you slay the big monster
And the Demons under its command
If they think they are sending you to their Hell
They will find out there are worst places to dwell

Every agonizing defeat I will take
To win big in the end
Slaying everything negative coming your way
Through bloody tears and stinging sweat
There will finally be rest

Peace of mind shall arrive
Heart calm in the beats of tranquillity
Relaxation at last
You just have to believe in who I am
And what I am fully capable of doing

Believe these words
They come in shining shield of a bright tomorrow
Guarding you from those trying to harm you
No more worries ahead

There will be mercy
I will take all the pain away
Even if it is all mine forever
I will deal with it the best that I can
To make everything better in the end

Why do I want to do this?
Fate tells me this is the journey
Where I must go to finally be whole

There will be calm
Warmth from head to toe
Everything will be for the better
You just have to trust these words I bestow

You are never alone!

Earnestly, I will be where you want me to go
