Earth Day,2018 Poem by Dr John Celes

Earth Day,2018

Earth Day,2018
Oh, sing a song of Mother Earth -
The only place where mankind lives;
The home of beauty since his birth,
With flora, fauna Nature gives.

And Earth meets all his wants of life -
An awesome habitat, God made;
With bliss of every kind and strife,
To live a happy life, God bade.

But man, preserve the earth always;
Do not pollute its soil and air;
From rivers, drink the human race;
And plants and beasts are its welfare.

Let plastics not kill man and beast;
Let oil not spill on oceans, seas;
Let pests not feed on men deceased;
Let towers not scare birds and bees.

Afforestation must be goal;
Save every drop of rain that falls;
Do not widen the ozone hole;
Avoid the smog of canon balls.

Remember Nature's furies kill;
Align with Nature Mother then;
Your posterity could turn ill;
Unleash not hell on earth's heaven.
