I adore you like the Earth worships the Sun
Your light pierces through my impenetrable Ozone layer
To warm my cold earth
And make my greenery sprout gorgeous blossoms
Your rays glisten against my bodies of water
You sparkle through even the smallest of droplets
And when we must part, you bellow your woes in pained shades
Each beam bursting into impassioned tints of ruby, topaz and garnet
But again you'll return because we are forever fated drawn together by the pull of gravity
