The Glass - Poem by Anayssa Garcia

Tall and thin
believed to be transparent
but nothing is truly clear
there is always that which you dont see
and that my friend,
is what you should fear
for you can only fill the glass
until it overflows
and you can only burden it
until is shatters
but when that time comes you shant panic
for the glass waits on no one but time
and you will recieve what you have redeemed
the glass
elegant and beautiful
helpful in ways
can also cut
swear by it
blood stained lips do not haunt it
for doubts, dissappointments and disbelief
are easily washed away

Very beautiful how this glass can be used and seen this way. How it can be us (Report) Reply
