Eau Claire December (Prologue) - Poem by Cat Tiger

White tufted evergreens and crystal trees
glisten along the cloudy horizon
White lawns, roofs spray a snowy breeze
As glazed streets issue traffic along.

In the center of Wisconsin's frosty air
Where two rivers meet in swirling blue
Winter has come to rolling Eau Claire
And fans gather for an evening brew.
