Echoes - Poem by Syed Anas Hussaini
'I hear the echo's of my scream.
I feel the whisper of my dreams.
I see the darkness as it seems.
Which trapped me as it changed me.
. As I never thought this is what i could ever be.
. I was general of the fight I fought.
I see martyr's of the wars they lost.
Now I am responsible for the things I couldn't sort.
. For the excuses I shouldn't have.
With the truth we make them halve.
I should have stood up unbroken.
But I was down to death and frozen.
So i shouted to make things happen.
They accused me of being darken. '
