'Echoes Of Injustice' Written By Mark Walford

Rating: 4.5

In shadows deep where prejudice hides,
A silent storm in countless lives.
It taints the heart, it clouds the mind,
A legacy cruel, unkind.

The dreams deferred, the hopes betrayed,
By walls unseen, yet coldly laid.
From city streets to rural lands,
Injustice thrives where hatred stands.

The chains are gone, yet chains remain,
In whispered slurs, in covert pain.
Opportunities lost in vain,
A societal, enduring stain.

But see the strength in every tear,
In every voice that speaks out clear.
For every march and every stand,
For every soul that takes a hand.

Change is birthed in hearts anew,
In every ally, brave and true.
The world can heal, the world can grow,
With love and justice, let it flow.

So let us dream and let us strive,
For unity where all can thrive.
A future bright, a world unscarred,
Where all are free, where none are barred.
