Eclipse Poem by H Seeking

Eclipse

The Sun and the Moon can never meet
Their fate is irrevocably sealed
Echoes of dismay pealed

But no one accounted for the eclipse
That is when their heart flips
Why they really can touch lips

Soon the orbs are back in their orbit
And resume tiresome habits
One a Lion, the other a meek rabbit

Eagerly await the next celestial dance
Only then can I watch them prance
And break the perpetual trance
