Broken inside
Helpless, a second chance denied
Scared, so I run and hide
Soulless, got nothing left but pride
Haunted by the darkness in my mind
Lost in the shadows creeping from behind
Fading into the silence of the night
Chasing away any source of light
Too far gone to set things right
A prisoner of nightmares I cannot fight
Struggling to swim against the tide
Trapped in a loop, forever on rewind
Numb to the tears that have long since dried
No hope of reviving a soul that has died
Tried, only to come back, broken inside
