Eileen - Poem by Nancy Stone

Eileen, Eileen
with the
bearing of
a Queen.
full of
dignity and grace
Blessed with your mother's face.
and when God
brought you to
me it's
thru your
eyes I now see...
A girl with
a dream so
brave and
true that...
God saw fit
to give her you...
With your hair the
color of sand
Your eyes the
green of the sea...
Could you
have
been a mermaid
before you
came to be...
Do you swim
with the dolphins
Dance with
the waves
Catch falling
stars
and dream
dreams
only you
can save...
