My departure has no day or night.
As I have already taken flight
And left the stratosphere and circled a star.
That is both dark and light.
Eternally both day and night
I cannot freeze or fix my eyes on either one.
Both hold my attention equally.
And although I am ill-advised to follow
Either one or the other
And make that single choice, my lover
I cannot choose, for I too am both
The light and the dark of the two sides of the moon
And any departure now would be
Elaborately dishonest and frankly too soon.
