Elegance Of Sorrow Poem by Hanan Akhtar Ansari

Elegance Of Sorrow

There are souls that smile at dawn,
Though night has stolen all their sleep;
They wear the sun upon their lips,
While silent storms run dark and deep.
Betwixt two smiles they softly gasp,
A breath to bear what none can see;
They hide their tears behind their grace,
And walk with quiet dignity.
