Elemental Love Poem by Astral Clusters

Elemental Love

Fire

In the darkness of my emotions
you ignited a single flame.
Over time you fed it well,
and over time it grew.
Once a spark that set a flame
into a fire ablaze.
Now i lay back in your arms
and watch the world burn.

Water

As a river flows between two banks
it is evident our time is short.
I will flow like a stream
and take the path of least resistance.
Which will lead me to you
and not a moment too soon.
Because time is a face on the water.

Earth

The rock which everything must lean
to the minerals that make life easier.
The dirt that helps things flourish
to the plants everything must depend on for life.
These things i can effortlessly compare you to.
Because you are my all,
my Earth.

Air

Without air there would be no us.
Would be no one to look to the sky,
to watch the clouds and feel the rain,
to smell the plants and hear the world.
Air is a very important element.
Without air there would be no you,
without you there would be no me.
