Elephant Ears Poem by douglas lewis

Elephant Ears

Rating: 4.5

I will always remember
The neighbour with
The elephant ears.
His seismic organs
Set on high.
The lifting of a finger
Would quake his ear canals.
A whisper, worlds away,
An erection to his lobes.
The flapping of his
Ears and mouth
No decibel could count.
I never made a sound.
