Elephants, wild elephants complaining,
Wild elephants with their herds complaining,
How forests have been cleaned and cleared,
Cut, ravished and looted
In the form of procuring logs, leaves and fruits,
Lands to be encroached intruding upon
Their private space and habitats
And now say where will they stray to,
What will they take to survive
If forests are cut down and cleared mindlessly,
Where will they as rampant cutting is taking place,
Woodcutters are lying in wait to take away surreptitiously?
