Elizabeth Taylor Remembered Poem by Suzanna Chevalier

Elizabeth Taylor Remembered

Elizabeth Taylor died yesterday
she lived a life full of happiness and pain.
She was a movie star on the big screen
she was in the movie Giant with
Rock Hudson and James Dean.
At the height of her career,
she did a lot more, she was sincere.
American Foundation for AIDS Research she did start
her humanitarian efforts sets her apart.
Foundation raises funds and awareness to fight
the spread of HIV/AIDS which kills in the night.
She was a leader, spokesperson and she was brave.
Now she has moved on to no time and space
for Elizabeth I hope she’s found a happier place.
Where we can only imagine if we try
where she can finally rest and not cry.
