Eloquent Silence
Not far from you
Not close enough
Life at this instant
Seems very tough.
There have been between us
Moments of sharing;
Good times are rare.
Yet in our hearts
Some memories
We have treasured.
By our tears of separation
Our love we have measured.
Why now there lies
This ocean of silence;
Seering with waves
That were never so eloquent.
