Elsewhere Is His Foe Poem by Krishna Mohan

Elsewhere Is His Foe

He knew he was forbidden to wish,
Enticed never he wanted to be,
Soul like a kid, ran around,
Wept, the heart for more and more,
Sniveled, the heart for the only one.

Her eyes smiled, poetry flowed,
Her lips moved, music poured,
She smiled and turned,
Knew he had to depart,
Knew he had to turn back.
He cursed his ways,
He sought to be reborn,
Save for oblivion,
Reappear, let her again.

Back to his world of reality,
The moment half as blissful as his dream.
He has to live now, He has to live here,
Elsewhere is his foe..
