Embers Spread Poem by Engin Kavrak

Embers Spread

I am a voice upon the lace of embers lay about
At the extent of water my heart rebound
By the wood I reside I am all so relied
Within a cottage my lone senses cried

I am a voice to form a melody
Unshaped by the lips of my unknown lover
I settle sometimes above the sky
Grim the lightning with the drops afar

I am a voice unheard by the ears
I create solace and shape a scape
And console the painful tears
And not to shatter I escape

I am a call a command in darkness I blend
By the fire I sense an upcoming price
Of an infiltrating grand the ember fire dries
And I reunite the embers to blaze anew

I am a song or a shattering piece of sonic
By the runes on the anvils I am enchanted
A coil the winds to direct and set
At the oceans pounding waves met

And the water to cloud and the wind blown
By the sickle's dash and the spilling splash
The boulders crush and the quake
I am a voice by the flying serpent and drake

And the embers spread at my heart break
I twirl into fair flame on my passion's great
I am the law above the sky and stars take
But after the uttering I simply fade
