Embrace Poem by Phillip Dodham Cormier

Embrace

I can feel your warm breath against my neck
Your arms reach around me and pull me towards you
Your embrace excites me
I spin to face you
Our eyes meet
A sense of ecstasy washes over me as I draw you nearer
I can feel your hands placed on my chest
I pull you right against my body all the while staring deeply into your eyes
We are now face to face
My lips hover just millimetres away from yours
They touch and allow that moment to linger
For I want this moment to last as long as it can
I move back, yet you pull me toward you
As if begging for me to kiss you once more
I willingly oblige for I wish to remain in your embrace forever
