Embrace Of The Frost Poem by Severa Knight

Embrace Of The Frost

In shadows cast, a figure came to me,
A cold breeze's touch, a haunting mystery.
His presence sent a shiver down my spine,
Yet in his chill, a warmth did I divine.

His eyes, like winter's frost, were icy blue,
But in their depths, a fire kindled, true.
I welcomed him, though chills ran down my skin,
For in his cold embrace, I found a sin.

He whispered secrets in the dead of night,
A tempting dance, a dangerous delight.
I shivered as his words played on my soul,
And in his frost, my heart began to toll.

A paradox, this love so cold and sweet,
A taste of poison that I couldn't beat.
I yearned for more, though it made me sick,
This love, this breeze, a dangerous mystique.

In his embrace, I found both pain and pleasure,
A love so wrong, a love I couldn't measure.
He was a cold breeze, but I held him near,
For in his icy touch, I felt no fear.
