Emotions Poem by Shane Dickie

Emotions! One can attempt to explain

Feelings of love, joy and pain,

I may feel the pains of pins in my stomach;

An ache in my ear; a heart filled

With pain - a mind full of fear.

I thought of all the feelings I experienced

In the past; some would diminish,

Some would last.

All of these experiences, I could not

Convey to you in one single day,

And without them we would not be

Better off but only worse
