Emptiness Poem by Maria L. Patterson

Emptiness

Rating: 4.0

Pain grips my aching heart
and brands my minds into shattered and confusion
but when I call out to you,
to fill my heart with blazing love and passion,
I only hear silence...

Ten thousands tears blinds my eyes,
and sear my hollow soul into darkness
but when I reach out for your warmth and strength
I only feel emptiness...

I can't find my way without you
where are you? ...I need you...
I need to feel your warmth...
I need to feel your soft and smove
tender lips against mines...

I need to feel your strong and powerful
hand against my aching heart...
I need you to help me heal this pain and emptiness inside...

So I call out to you one last time,
but still,
I only hear silence...

And I reach out for you one last time,
but still,
I only feel EMPTINESS...
