Have seen from afar an empty looking shell
More beautiful than anything ever created
Such beauty no man can handle
For it brought a tear to the eye
Wished upon a star to obtain this shell
For the imagination runs into overdrive
Began filling it with everything I wanted
Not holding any emotions back
Fooling myself that the shell is the one
That is destined to be with me for eternity
Became enchanted out of my own doing
For this shell does not fade from the mind
Nor when sleep had washed over
Looming into the realm of Morpheus
A realization showers over the mind
For an understanding has taken form
The shell merely perceived to be empty
For what dwells within may be loathsome
This shell is truly enchanted
Enticing whomever meets its glaze
A curse casted upon the beholder
For which there is no known cure
