Empty Vision Poem by AMITAVA PANJA

Empty Vision

Empty vision spears out
Finds way into dull brain
Hunger- a form of survival
No truce with blood drain

Hand held with no pain
Glittering stars smiles away
Heaven calls with a motherly tone
Life moving with all sway...

They ask merely for a bread
Who cares...
Lives tread with all it's trade...

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
There lies a disparity in a society. The poem is somehow tried to depict a general psychology of the poor people. They ask for help. But we dont have time. We are too busy to look into their problems or rather help them to a bit.
