Emptying Poem by Saiom Shriver

Emptying

Love makes a manger
of a desirefilled heart.
Ocean rocks are turned
to rookeries by the sea
Eyelets by Japanese beetles
sewn beautify the rose
Woodpeckers softly drill
caves in the tree.
Holey, holy and whole
the new hallowed hills.
