Ending Words Poem by Rather Dead Than Cool

Ending Words

The cool breeze of clarity dances around my fading nerves
I see only things for what they are, myself included.
The damp ground feels colder by the passing of time
only one inhale and exhale left to say, to say?

A definitive, a reason, my hands ache my wrists drenched.
The feel of there touch is so numb, a scarf wraps itself tightly around my soaked wrist.

I gaze into her teary eye's her head shaking.
No more, no more its all to burn out.
The words drip from my mouth like cool blood.
My moon has set i am to burn out.
I can see her twilit eyes pierce me like the sun.
My eye's will only think of you, my heart will only beat so fast.

I am lying now with my back to the sun to face the eternal midnight.
