Endless Hunger

I roam into the emptiness
One step unsure of the other
Not knowing what lies ahead
Or what I left behind
Still, I still hunger to be near you
To be vulnerable in your trust
To rest in your warmth
I have not been able to fill my abyss
In my desires, I draw you near
Till you become the light
that shatters my forever night
