Endless Sleep Poem by LeRoy Ives

Endless Sleep

Rating: 5.0

In all we try to achieve in life must endure course, strife with course, life must be an end as we weep beauty lies in the realm of reality as we lie in endless sleep.

Of life through mind comes great boundaries we try to leap only to ponder thoughts within we share it's humbleness as food to soul as we lie in endless sleep.

Youth full of vigor play take of granite day maturity, mind, age due season of passion, age a waiting thy endless sleep.

Life give all eyes of peers stand tall life of heart solid foundation to face journey's end that a kiss a waits Master's feet as you lie waiting endless sleep.

Of body let there be strength within to endure the capacity of life of all I partake of give Spirit, sacrifice fill heart of humbleness oh so deep I meet Master in endless sleep.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I wrote this poem based on man or woman to capture the inner being deep within the heart of the human species that life is not a game but a serious part of the mortal flesh that all must face one day that will determine ones destiny between heaven and hell.
