Endure Poem by Berniece Penner

Endure

Do not speak to me of enduring
as I
run down a wooded path
walk up a mountain trail
skip through the valley
squeeze through a crevice
dance in the sunlight
turn my face to the rain
thanking God for life
knowing I will
endure to the end.
