Have you found a way to punctuate me
To dot my "i"
To exclamate my points
To semi-colon my related ideas;
Have you found the commas that
Divide and separate the run-on things you cannot
Understand—a dash to tell you how
Am I grammatically correct
Am I properly diagrammed
Did you give me a period to end my sentence on this Earth
Do I finally make sense?

No?

Then maybe you should forget
The punctuation and just allow
Me, like a poem,
To be free.
