Enigma Poem by Lors Dilouley

Enigma

let me give you a hint:

when i smile i cannot breathe
when i look away my heart is burning
when i cannot meet your eyes, my head is spinning.

cliches they may be.
but more true than not.
experience is the foe
naivety is beauty.

and you are...
and you make me...
i'm enraptured.

when you sit right up next to me,
your warmth moves me.
when you pull me closer
your heartbeat soothes me.

it's not your words
but your love -
it's not your actions
but your heart -
it's not your attitude
but your identity -

these send me on my way.
a guide to your mysteries.

i'll find the rest.

I like the title! Remain me of Sir Edward Elgar's Enigma music. Keep writing! Could you read and comment on my poems too? thank you.
