Enjoying Sunshine. Poem by Subhadip Bhattacharya

I enjoyed the sunlight
Sitting in my balcony
In the afternoon.
Nothing much happened except
Couple of cars and people went by.
And I just kept on enjoying the day
The purpose and reason of life
That question,
Suddenly was over although
I always thought I was destined for
Something else,
Something I don't know what it is
But,
Something that remains unfinished
And untouched.
Then,
Suddenly,
This day,
This pleasant afternoon
And I stopped
Looking at my watch.
Thoughts came and went
I thought of stupid life
How unreasonable it is.
