Entering Into The Spirit? Poem by Malcolm Wheatman

Entering Into The Spirit?

Beside a set of three large bottle banks
(Marked neatly, 'Green', 'Brown', 'Clear')
A wino sits, obiquely-eyed, with legs astride,
A large box, empty, by his side,
And round his neck a scribbled sign says, 'Here
Deposit full ones... Thanks! '
