Ephemeral Poem by Alexiel18 Snow

Ephemeral

As rain falls on a summer day
Youth swiftly evaporates
Life slips through fingers
Craving the bliss of love

It may be an ephemeral sentiment
A fleeting joy never to transpire
Sorely needed nectar
Tears a voided soul

Days keep piling up
Withering like a leaf in autumn
Winter surely comes
Darkness embraces all
