Epitaph Ii Poem by Naveed Khalid

Epitaph Ii

No dark by darkling insights
can bewail the night,
nor what by love the stars behold,
that in my writings less;
but by thy presence most abound,
the path that I hath tread,
and marked by the sun is every step
what you hide from the common eye,
oft by hallowed fire is more illumined:
let more be light if from out of sight,
not least the earth can move me more,
this world without thee alone.
