The Sun and the Moon, The Polar opposites,
One's hot and burning,
One's cold and shivering,
And the irony is that,
They are the perfect epitome of love.
They loved each other so much,
They were by each other's side everyday,
This confused people greatly,
For no one could tell Whether it is a day or night,
Hence Gods above decided to separate them.
The Gods cursed them,
That they shouldn't be together,
And to chase each other,
In the sky forever.
But their love was strong enough,
The sun met her at night, Protecting her from God's curse,
The moon met him at daylight,
Protecting him from God's curse.
The moon wanted sun so badly,
And the sun wanted to hold Moon in his arms,
And when they came together for a hug,
People called it a mere eclipse.
The sun died every night,
To let her breathe,
And she returned his love,
By reflecting the light and glowing in the dark.
For who says that the sun and moon couldn't make it,
They made it,
Even though they are miles apart,
They are always connected by their souls.
