Our false expectations almost always stem from a faulty
Understanding of where we fit into the grand scheme of things
And so a fervent wish, or even a strong desire, will not make it so
Until we first change our attitudes and thoughts
Though what might make the changes in our lives work would
Be the acceptance of a power greater than ourselves
