Eponymous Poem by Mark Walters

Eponymous

Eponymous is my name
Mom says, "Come here you"!
You answer just the same
Though you're not the one
Who bore the blame

Therefore, You're not you,
I'm the one they seek
Who, though truly due
Unrequited, unafraid to speak
Am here, munching cookies
All the same
