Eros Allure Poem by Jason Caporaletti

Eros Allure

Through smoke and blinding-flashing lights I see her walking to me
such Beauty
Eluding
The sight of her consumes me

And then she whispers in my ear and tells me what she's yearning
Alluring
Enduring
Our bodies both are burning

A single moment suddenly we're taken by our passion
Obsession
Aggression
We forget all discretion

We fade into a darkened room together now alone
Her tone
Her moan
As I make her my own

Moving-twisting-dancing, our bodies are entangled
Raveled
and Angled
We cannot be un-mangled

Devolving into animals we keep on going harder
Hotter
and Harsher
We keep on going farther

We reach our pinnacle and the reward for our devotion
Eruption
the Explosion
The wave of bliss emotion...

We cool down, and come to, and we both know within,
this sin,
of skin,
we both want it again...
