Escapism Fate Poem by SC DeQuanna

Escapism Fate

In a glowing field that lay goodnight
A lonely child stayed in fright
Coping with a lullaby
In a kingdom of the night

The stars twinkled in the sky
Planets seen up so high
Galaxies colored with light
In this kingdom of the night

Hush little child, it's alright
When you're here there's no need to fright
Your family and friends wait
In your escapism fate

You can go to town and try to bake
You could just lay and wait
Go to the castle on any day,
Do what you want as long as you stay

Hush little child, it's ok
We'll love you anyway
We'll stay with you
In your escapism fate
