Esposa Poem by guillermo veloso

Esposa

From the ends of the earth,
I have felt this wind
Bend my bough and stir my leaf
I sense the wave on my toe that began an ocean away
And know love is a traveler
A zephyr that alights on my heart
Eight minutes for the light to reach me
And an instant for dawn to come
