Essence
I leave behind
A simple song
For those who have
Someone they long
I never did
Fulfill my dream
Although I went
To the extreme
Many loves made
My heart their home
There's no roots
For those who roam
Essence shook
To it's very core
Left with less
Than before
Alas my journey
Came to an end
For posterity
This song I penned
Chances are
You're now alone
If in this heart
You once roamed
