Simple Kiss
All your fears
Are at their height
When thunder strikes
Late at night
It's only me
You want there
To protect you
From nightmares
Although your thoughts
Feel amiss
I'll set them straight
With a simple kiss
Shield you from
All the harm
As I hold you
In my arms
Then you realize
Your awake
Slowly your heart
Starts to break
You have never
Felt so scared
Wondering if
I still care
