Essence Of Living



Warm & solid
Is the sun-baked granite,
Splashed with colour is the painted sky..
Flashes of lightening, and storms that pass...
This is the essence of our loving.
Deep & earthy,
Fragrant & rain-soaked,
Nature 's bed-rock of life..
Storms bring moisture
To thirsty places -
This is the essence
Of living.
