Estates Of The Nation Poem by men shall know

Estates Of The Nation

Rating: 4.0

Berate the estates dumps
Bumps in the road that held us back
Slack- morals? Who cares
Dares to tell us what to feel
Steal any thing not welded down
Town- councils provide
Bide your time for help
Yelp! its not much to work on
Don- the clothes the uniforms
Norms that must be upheld
Spelled out you may not stray
Play around the rules are
Jewels the only ones we have.

Its best not to think
Drink like protein shakes
Makes you strong
Wrong? No I feel it in my fists
Mists of red and blood
Could, be your fate,
Mate if you strays toward
Board- the windows, they are gone for now,
Bow before the TV
You see it makes of us a class
At last-we get something back
Black clouds hang high
Bye- we are off, soon inside
Tide has turned it’s the lock, the key
The Tree never seen, we never cared for them
Stem? Flowers are for the weak
Creak- from stint to stint
Lint- it burns, every thing does
Buzz in the head
Dead sometimes
Rhymes are all that’s left
Bereft- eternal recession of hope
Dope gets us through
Screw- for a chance
To dance, with one who does love.
