How many times can we say goodbye, only to meet again?
Will these encounters fade with TiMe, our LoVe to be slain?
Together we stood, fighting off our deepest desires and temptations.
LoVe is fickle, when the heart and mind have its separate limitations.

To be strong in this world requires a great amount of will,
Often times I found myself back to where I slipped and fell.
What I want I do not need, and what I need I cannot have.
One half longs for something, the other sits on the shelve.

Along came the pretty JeW, and it was the same routine:
Send a flower, write a poem, eternally be my valentine.
"Forever" and "eternal" go hand-in-hand. Now mine holds hers.
In dreams we'll be, until one day we meet under night-time stars.

The tides that ride high and then low, the waves that come crashing onto the sandy shore,
Here I am again, along the chilly Long Island Bay. This is the last time I fall in love-no more.
Her voice in high pitched screams, my verses set in low undercurrents: Which direction are we going?
With the last of my lines, I shape the paper into a boat & set sail to the winds. Our LoVe is in this song.

ZzZzZz............. ZzZzZzZ................

Hello. Are you alive yet?

Beep............ beep............ beep.........

Did your soul die sometime in the late, late hour of the night?

.................................................

You're awake. Good. Now I showed you everything I wanted you to see!

Late into the cloudy morning, when Winter's air feels like Spring,
The voice of Eternal Life produced some tunes to sing and sing.
My ears began to ring, my head feeling light, and then I felt the WaRm-FuzZy thing in my chest.
Down came the rain, washing away my SinS. In a mist, the Fair Youth said: I am not the Ugliest!

What is forever when everyone is looking for the secret: Eternal Life?
Inside the hearts of every man, the object isn't to find the perfect wife.
Winter's DeAtH and the rebirth of Spring, should let you know Youth ages like the seasons.
Beware of what your eyes see; beauty and nature have the power to heighten inhibitions.

Scents of rain that excite the nostrils, nothing, O nothing! Smells better than her Ivy perfume.
How the flowers grow in their time of need, my cold heart blooms to put out its hateful flame.
If eyes are the blinder to our senses, then call me mad! A love this like has stood the test of time.
I've been ridiculed & shamed to chase after this flower. No! O no! Will I let the flower soak in lime.

Down comes the rain, her tears gently rolling off the branches where leaves should be.
I heard her plea from a time long ago, wipe them away. EsTheR, you are here with me!
No falling rain, or sweeping snow, will stop me from where I want to go.
Where that is, I don't know. My heart beats again when you let me go.

In order to live, I had to die. Now these verses reached its ending.
