Eternal Love Poem by Bron Kozakiewicz

Eternal Love

Oh how I've missed you for such a long time,
How I long for those moments when you were all mine.
I will never forget your beauty and grace,
Or the close ups I had of your exquisite face.
As I went to kiss you on your rose petal lips,
I'm sure that my heart made no less than two skips.
Your beauty is such that there aren't enough words,
So even to try seems almost absurd.
We have been parted for quite a few years,
But when I remember you darling I still shed my tears.
My heart will never completely mend,
And you will always be with me right to the end.
When we parted that terrible day,
I begged and begged you to stay.
But you had to leave as we'd grown apart,
And when you went you took a big chunk of my heart.
Take care of that heart, I'll tell you why...
Because my love for you will never die.
