Eternal Sunshine Poem by Neel Neeraj

Eternal Sunshine

Sometimes one relates happiness to a brief illusionary moments
but the search for bliss is never ending...
The twinkling stars flicker like little lamps in the sky that i see from the ground below.
The blue-gray sky, the wind, it speaks to me again and all clear
I trudged across the hill to reach somewhere
I looked back only to realize i was where i began.

Like a Beach looking for its waves
My search has taken me across the ocean far and wide
Night has fallen and the tide has risen
Now the seashore is enveloped in a warm embrace

Waves crashes the shores like the pounding in my head
Its daybreak again and along with sunshine some renewed hope
that all is within reach...

The slippery fish can be caught
The elusive deer can be trapped
The repositories of the ancient tree can be traversed
And ocean can be crossed

Across hills and vales,
The horizon is but only a mirage begging to make sense
