Eternal Wallflower Poem by Wakhumsa Notyawe

Eternal Wallflower

What is love tightened
by a bolt from the blue? Or
is it a mere sentiment which is due?
I hope it's destination
it's not a hard pill to swallow

Love of mine is a blessing in disguise
Seeking answers like burnt child who dreads the fire, thy soul a closed book.
Give it time my dear, a cog in the wheel will come to light

My wish is like a cold day in July
To Peeps our love can be a
double edged sword
but to us it's a feast for the eyes
My words made you feel like a fish out of water

But I know it's a foregone conclusion
This will be a long haul
But I'll forever have my peace.
